Maa,
We have no words to express our grief
Your maternal roots run deep in us
We are silenced by your passing
The light in our being is dim
We stare at the world before us
Its is now so different
Our senses and our palates
Are no longer the same
You are an entire universe to us
We feed from your being
Your dedicated daily prayers and ‘Sukhmani’
Have kept your children warm and sheltered
We are aware you have gone to your true home
To your husband, Lord
Be free my Maa
You are an amazing daughter, sister, wife and much amazing Mother
And most of all, you are a successful Woman
Your life will remain an example and lessons to us.
We can’t thank you enough for your sacrifices
Nothing will ever match it
We can only offer our prayers
That you be exalted in your true home
