Manogaran Maniam, better known as Mano Maniam, passed away peacefully in Brickfields at the age of 80. He was the son of the late M.S.Maniam - Pakiam Maniam of Ipoh.
A son, a brother, an uncle, a father and grandfather figure, his presence and light will be sorely missed by his family:
- Balakrishna, Malini-Ruzbih, Balakumaran-Abirami, Manimogan-Alicia,
Balakavitha-Dilu, Manjuli-George & Balakarthik
- Rian, Thrishen, Peshvar, Keyan, Akshayaa & Riyo.
Mano was many things to many people - a distinguished actor, an inspiring teacher and mentor, a skilled international management consultant, a passionate environmentalist, an international sportsman, a powerful orator, and above all, a true loyal affectionate friend to everyone he met. As he always said, he was born in Little India, Ipoh, and would want to take his last breath in Little India, KL - and so he did.
His life touched countless others through his warmth, wisdom, and his unwavering belief in uplifting those around him.
The memorial service will be held at: Bliss Gardens, Memorial Hall P3, Persiaran Jalan Setia Makmur U14/49, Seksyen U14, Shah Alam as follows:
Wake Service:
Date / Day: 1 June 2025 (Sunday)
Time: 5pm - 10pm
Funeral Service:
Date / Day: 2 June 2025 (Monday)
Time: 9am onwards followed by the cremation ceremony at 2pm
