Mr Alex Yong passed away on 1 March 2022 in KL. Alex was a husband, father, brother, son, companion, teacher, author, director, student, writer, lecturer, philosopher, investor, current affairs commentator, tennis player, joker, entrepreneur, friend, cynic, contrarian and much more.
To memorialise his life and values, his favourite Lao Tzu quote which you will find in his second book, Strategic HR – Invent and Innovate (2005): “Begin difficult things when they are easy, do great things when they are small. The difficult things of the world must have once been easy, the great things must have once been small....
A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.”

A wake on 6 March (Sunday) and 7 March (Monday) between 2-9pm, followed by his cremation at Nirvana Crematorium, Shah Alam on 8 March (Tuesday) at 10am.
The parlour will be at N09 (Pearl), Nirvana 2 Kuala Lumpur, 16, Jalan Dewan Bahasa, Bukit Seputeh, 50460 Kuala Lumpur.
