“The brightest candle that radiated Joy”

Amma for 81 years you illuminated us with your radiant light and grace,

You touched so many lives all around you everywhere you went,

Today Alan, Daniel & I weep in sorrow as we fondly miss you,

We will remember all your beautiful attributes and deeds,

which will forever be etched in our heavy hearts ,

You gave us the best childhood, showering us with your abundant love,

Cooking us the tastiest meals, lovingly treating us when we were sick,

Juggling between full time work as a public health doctor you did it all,

Together with Pappa, you both were the best parents we could ever ask for,

You were always an iron woman who managed your time so excellently,

We sailed so many storms together and through it all,

You always fervently clung on to our Lord never once doubting Him,

The way you would keep your mind alert with book puzzles will always make us smile.

You were our prayer warrior, who knew the Bible so well,

You walked in faith and imparted knowledge thru’ your actions,

You had such an elephant memory, always remembering to wish loved ones for their birthdays at the stroke of midnight,

We will always be in awe of your brilliance, demure and soft-spoken nature.

Amma though it is agonizing to think of a life ahead without you,

You taught us to be resilient and strong and to carry on,

You are truly an exemplary Angel of Faith and Wisdom,

That many will reminisce and speak of

As you reunite with Pappa in heaven,

We wait for the day to join you in Paradise.

Rest Amma. You have toiled so hard. It is time to enter His glory as you gaze at us from the heavens above. We will meet in our dreams Amma.

We love you so very much and miss you so much Amma.
