Was called to be with his Lord on Tuesday, 12th January 2021

Ir Selvaratnam Sinnadurai was born in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. 

He graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical 

Engineering from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 1978. 

He was an accomplished Chartered Engineer throughout his career. 

He started his professional career at Sime Darby plantations. 

He spent most of his professional career as the Chief Engineer at 

United Plantations. He then moved on as the Director of Engineering 

at Tradewinds Sdn Bhd. followed by the last few years as a 

Mill Advisor of Acapalm Plantation Services. 

Those who knew Selvaratnam best, knew of his love for God and faith in Christ. He has been a member of the Worldwide Church of God now known as the United Church of God International. He will be missed dearly by members of his church.

His greatest achievement was always being the pillar of strength for his immediate and extended family. He was a dedicated father to his daughters and was always there for them. He was their rock and strength. His love for them was founded on 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 

A follower of Christ, ever loving father, doting grandfather, and beloved brother who lived his life serving the Lord. He will always be loved and dearly missed by:
