retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, passed away peacefully on the 28th of January 2017 at 11.35 pm. He was 92 years old and is survived by his wife, Tan Guan Eng, his daughter, Audrey Goon (predeceased by his son-in-law, Abdul Karim Jaffar), his sons, Alan Goon and Darryl Goon, his daughters-in-law, Kee Nga Yong and Foo Yet Ngo, and his grandchildren, Marissa Abdul Karim, Amanda Goon, Geraldine Goon and Leandra Goon.
