On Tuesday, 3rd March 2026, at 7.30 am, our dear father, Foong Weng Yew, passed away peacefully at home in Ipoh, Perak, at the age of 95.
Born on 5 April 1930, he built a life centred around his family and faith. He will be remembered for his gentle nature, wisdom and love towards his wife, our dear departed mother, Mdm. Chow Lye Meng. A dedicated leader in his community, he served as Chairman of Chung San School for many years and remained committed to the school throughout his life.

Visitation :
6th - 8th March 2026 (Friday-Sunday)
From 10am to 10pm with family present between 7pm to 10pm.
Prayers will be at 8pm
at Catholic Church of St Michael, 24, Jalan Gereja, Ipoh.
Funeral Mass :
9th March 2026 (Monday) at 9am at
Catholic Church of St Michael, 24, Jalan Gereja, Ipoh.
Cortege leaves from the
Church of St. Michael to Kek Look Seah, Bercham Crematorium at 10am for those wishing to accompany the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to SJK (C) Chung Shan, Ipoh will be gratefully received.
A donation box will be made available at the Parlor when the family is present.
