SRI LANKAN PRIEST WHO LEFT HIS MARK IN MALAYSIA... 

Rev. Fr.  S. Florimond, OMI who served in Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Brickfields, passed away on the 11th of November 2021 in Toronto, Canada at the age of 82. He leaves behind his brother Fr. Peter, a sister, nephews and nieces and dear friends to mourn his loss. Fr. Florimond was originally from Jaffna, Sri Lanka. After having served at the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, he was a Resident priest at the Church of the Holy Rosary along Jalan Tun Sambanthan.

He left Malaysia sometime in 1977 for Sri Lanka and later went on to settle in Canada. While there he was always busy helping the Sri Lankan refugees by looking into their various needs. In later years he slowed down and recently became ill till he passed away. May his Soul Rest in Peace!
