Revi Krishnan Chellappan Pillai passed away peacefully on
15 September 2020 at University Hospital due to
pneumonia complications and advanced
Alzheimer’s Disease at 70 years of age.
His cremation service will be held on
16 September 2020 at Kampung Tunku
Crematorium, Petaling Jaya at 12noon.
Due to Covid-19, the funeral will be a private affair for family members.
The life of every soiree, Revi finally RSVPed his attendance to the ultimate gathering.
At events, Revi would often regale revelers with stories of mischief and mayhem and then find him at the event’s stage, belting out a tune or two (usually Enrique Inglesias’ Bailamos!) karaoke style.
Revi, who was born in Kelantan in 1950, was an RMC graduate. He pursued a degree in accounting and became
a chartered accountant with CIMA minus the British accent. If that seems stuffy to you, trust me, he was far from it.
When he wasn’t working hard, he loved his Anchor beer, singing and strumming his guitar and was an avid animal-lover despite his childhood asthma. He was a kind, caring and perceptive father, husband, sibling and friend.
Revi is survived by his wife, Moong Lan and his 3 children; Ramona, Reshmi and Rizvan. He will be sorely missed.
“Like a fool, I fell in love with you.
You turned my whole world upside down.”
- Eric Clapton
