How quickly this year has passed, since death its mournful shadow cast

Within our hearts where all was bright, and took from us our shining light

No one knows the emptiness we feel, and how deep the bitter pain

Whilst in our hearts you linger on and only memories remain

We miss that light and always will, 

your vacant place no one can fill

We mourn still and bear the pain,
