Po Po and Gong Gong were reunited one year ago to this day, after 16 years apart.
It is apparent to all who knew them that they dedicated their lives to mentoring us. Although they were in many ways polar opposites, together, they were a binding force. Po Po was the yin to Gong Gong’s yang and together, a harmonious match.
We will always be thankful for all the invaluable lessons learnt......in love, benevolence, humility and integrity. Po Po and Gong Gong had different approaches; one was gentle, the other firm but both shared the same core principle: Family values and unity always came first - Family was the centre of their world.
Po Po and Gong Gong - we are so proud to call you ours. We will continue to love, remember and honour you, and to pass on all that you have taught us. Rest assured, your legacy will live on as we promise to make you just as proud......parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
