8th anniversary
Almighty God, we continue to bless Your Name for the life of our dearly beloved
whom You called into Your eternal Presence on
18th February 2014.
Father, he was “Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which You prepared beforehand, that he should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
Saviour, in his life of humble servitude, he sought to emulate You Who “did not come to be served but to serve” (Matthew 20:28).
Holy Spirit, in the simplicity of his faith, You became “the guarantee of his inheritance until he acquires possession of it” on the Last Day (Ephesians 1:14).
We are thankful, Lord, for every remembrance of him. He was so many things to so many people but best of all, he lowered himself to become a servant-friend to all who sought his assistance. We miss him dearly and look forward to that glorious day when we will be re-united with him to hear You say, “Enter into the joy of Your Master” (Matthew 25:23).
