‘Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has laid you see.
I took his hand when I heard His call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
Tasks left undone all the way…..
You have changed your address to heaven above,
For the ‘Lord” had build you a mansion with your name!
A heart of gold stopped beating.
Two blinking eyes closed to rest,
that’s the day apart of us went with you,
and left with a feeling of not knowing what to do.
The song is ended but the melody lingers on,
for as long as the world spins and earth is green.
With a new wood you laid in a box and not in our arms.
Our mind scattered and we are in disarray.
It’s hard to believe, we‘re going to be okay!
“A limb has fallen from our family tree”.
‘Lord” he said he will follow us,
would walk side by side through our life but when we
needed him the most, we saw only one set of footprints in the sand.
The Lord, replied, ‘I love him’ and I would never leave him,
during the time of trial and suffering. When you see only
one set of footprints it was that I carried him.
Undo it, take it back, make every day the previous one,
The one that made you gone!
We never know the time we have,
todays are done and tomorrows are no more.
The most painful goodbyes are never said and explained.
We will be running to your smile,
As you wait at the ‘Heavens Door’ with your name!
We love and miss you bunches.
Always in our mind forever
In our heart.
