In our hearts your memory lingers,

Always tender, fond and true;

There’s not a day, dear father,

We do not think of you.

 

Loving and kind in all your ways,

Upright and just to the end of your days;

Sincere and true, in your heart and mind,

Beautiful memories, you left behind.

 

Three years have passed since that sad day,

When you were called away.

God took you home. It was His will, 

But in our hearts you liveth still.
