Fourteen Years Without You
Fourteen autumns have turned their leaves,
yet your voice still hums in the quiet air,
like a lullaby stitched into the seams
of our days, unseen but everywhere.
The kitchen remembers your gentle hands,
the way flour rose like soft white clouds,
and the garden still leans toward the sun
as if you whispered its name aloud.
We measure time not by clocks or years,
but by the warmth you left in our bones—
the tea shared, the stories spun,
the courage you planted in our unknowns.
Though the chair sits empty, the heart stays full;
love does not fade—it deepens, it grows.
Fourteen years, and still you walk beside us,
in every dawn, in every rose.
Deeply missed by
Sons, Daughters, Daughters in-law, Sons in-law,
Grandsons, Granddaughters, Granddaughters in-law,
Grandsons in-law,
Great grandsons, Great granddaughters and loved ones.
