Returned home to the Lord on 7th October 2025
It’s so hard to believe that it’s been a year since we last saw you or heard you and yet it seems like only yesterday. One whole year without your love, warmth, care, laughter, cooking and prayers. Home is not the same anymore without you. Nothing is and nothing will ever be the same.
For us it’s a different kind of heartbreak losing you. No one knows the heartache as we turned and left you in your final resting place that day. No one knows that we still ache in sadness every day. No one knows that our nights are filled with silent tears. What it meant to lose you, no one will ever know.
We miss your quiet love, loud guidance, worrying about us, the prayers you lifted for us and your cooking. Many a day we wish we could pick up the phone and call you, hear your voice, see you or just come lay on your bed with you.
We know deep down in our hearts you are with us wherever we go, whatever we do, in our joy, in our pain, in our tears, in our triumphs. For now, we take solace knowing one day we will all be together again in God’s beautiful garden.
We thank God for the gift of having you in our lives. We will carry on your legacy of unwavering faith in God, love, kindness, compassion, generosity and especially being there for each other.
Mummy, you are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. We will always carry you in our hearts and cherish the memories we had.
We miss you more each day and love you so much …...
