2nd July 1940 - 17th July 2025

It has been 31 days since my beloved husband — revered as Papa by my three children, fondly known as Uncle to his sons- and daughter-in-law and as Appa to his cherished grandchildren — peacefully departed this world, leaving behind a profound legacy beautifully woven with wisdom, warmth and unwavering love. Though our hearts are heavy with grief in his absence, today, we choose to celebrate a life remarkably well-lived. He was a man of strength, sharp intellect and boundless kindness — a steadfast presence who gave selflessly and lived with quiet purpose. Even in the face of adversity, he faced every challenge with calm composure, unshakable courage and compassion. He always met life’s trials with a twinkle in his eye and a gentle tone in his voice, leading with grace and humility. Over the past month, stories of him have poured in — tales of his wisdom, his wit, his generosity and the way he left people better than when he first met them. These shared memories have brought laughter through tears, reminding us of how his life quietly and impactfully touched so many hearts.

As we mark this 31st day, we are filled with deep gratitude for the years we were blessed to share with him and the legacy he leaves behind. His values will continue to guide our path, his lessons will resonate in our choices and his memory will remain a cherished light in our lives. Though we will no longer walk our journeys with him, today, happiness leads the way as we lift our hearts in thanksgiving to the Almighty for the gift of my husband, Papa, Uncle and Appa.
