A year has passed since Rajeswary suddenly left us.

She departed leaving behind her elder brother Paranchothi, two younger brothers Balasubramaniam and Balakrishnan, relatives and friends in mourning.

The late Rajeswary held a professional library science qualification obtained after studies at Leeds Polytechnic in the UK. (Admitted as an Associate of The Library Association, UK in September 1970). She worked at a public library in the UK for a period before returning to Malaysia.

She became a staff of Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Selangor (PPAS) in the 1970’s. Her service included being Librarian in Shah Alam, Klang and Banting. She retired from PPAS in 2001. During her working life she was also an active member of Persatuan Pustakawan Malaysia (PPM).
