There is sacredness in tears,
They are not the mark of weakness but of power, they are the messenger of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition and of unspeakable LOVE!
Yes, we wish we could see you one more time, come walking through the door, but we know that is impossible, we will hear your voice no more.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
I wish I could tell you how our days have been, “Call me if you need me”, that’s what you used to say, often, we pick up the phone ready to dial, but then tears begin to roll.
But how can I call and scream into the phone? My God, you’re now no
more!
I wish I could run into your arms,
When I am having a bad day,
Often, I think of what you could say.
Your advice, your words of wisdom, your high spirit, your humour..
You and only YOU used to chase all our blues away.
We wish we could tell you all the great things that we want to share.
Where you always showed such great enthusiasm.
Always there intrigued, listening, smiling happily.
We wish we had you just forever in our life. It aches just like yesterday.
As you sit in the garden of Heaven and watch us every day, we wish we
can place our arms around you, to calm us as we weep!
We have to hide out heartache when someone speaks your name.
I’ll wrap these treasured memorials in a blanket of my love and keep
them for you until we meet above.
God holds you in His care, we hold you in our Hearts!
