In the sunlight the flower shone brightly
At night the storm came and it is gone
Unlike the vanished flower dearest Pa
The memories and words you left us
Can’t be swept away by weather or time
Like the dew drops glistening each morning
On the green lotus leaves in the pond
You inspire and refresh our lives
As if you are beside us still
