By the window the rolling waves toll it’s 11 years past
Awaiting your loving touch, heirloom crystals languish forlorn
At this festive time, so bittersweet,
We can’t help but mourn
Your shocking swift surprise exit.
While longing to savour your smile, your scent, your face
We’ll settle for Time to grind our pain to healing grace
