Somewhere beyond the heavens,
We know that’s where you are.
We see you when the sun sets,
You’re that shining stars.
When stormy days surrounds us,
You’re the rainbow that appears.
And the gently falling rain,
We know they are your tears.
There will be no tomorrows,
You’re all our yesterdays.
But those memories we made,
are treasures that will stay with us always.
We asked God for directions,
will tell you the reason why.
We would love to pay a visit
to hold you tight in our arms,
say we love you with a kiss,
which we never got to tell,
even on that final day.
Although we fell and stumbled many times
all those hills were necessary climbs.
We will go forward with our head up high.
It might be hard, we cannot lie!

Then fate walked in
And tore us apart.
We’ll never be parted
By separation or death.
For memories are living
Until our last breath.
The tears we have cried could
flood the earth and we know you
have wiped each one away.
For this journey we all must take
and each must go alone, reminding
us we’ll meet again and one day all
the pain will ease when “He” restores
this missing piece!
