There are lives whose significance reaches

far beyond the years they are given.

For more than seven decades, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali served Malaysia with compassion,

quiet dignity and an unwavering sense of duty.

A pioneering doctor and public health advocate, Tun opened doors for women in medicine and brought hope and care to mothers and children, particularly in rural communities. Her grace was matched by a deep resolve to make life better for others.

She inspired us to carry forward a part of that work. The Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali Scholarship for Creative Arts and Music at Sunway University gives talented young Malaysians the opportunity to pursue their artistic aspirations, and the

Sunway—Malaysian AIDS Foundation Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Award honours those who uphold the dignity of marginalised communities.

In Tun's memory, we uphold our commitment to the causes and ideals she held dear. May the opportunities we create and the lives we help improve be a fitting tribute to her legacy and all that Tun had to give throughout her life.
