She died in her home in Overland Park, Kansas, USA.
She wrote her own obituary:
“I was born in a room above a shop house in
Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I was loved from
the day I was born and I love my family. I am brutally
honest or blunt. And I abhor pious hypocrisy.”
A maths teacher at Convent Sentul Girls School
for many years, she leaves behind a loving family
in the States and in Malaysia. Her service will be
